This antique wooden masher is believed to be of French origin. The masher handle is quite smooth and the bottom section used for mashing displays the raw and detailed graining of the wood. It appears to have been exposed to some heat and as result the deeper tones in the wood can be seen on the bottom and sides of this large antique wooden masher. This piece would look fantastic on a kitchen counter or shelf mingled among vintage art or perhaps some other beloved objects.
